    This smoke detector can be connected to twelve other detectors to monitor an entire building. The smoke detector is mains-powered but has a back-up battery (1x 9V included) in case the power goes out.
    You can test whether the unit is working just as easily; simply press the test button for reassurance that everything is working properly.
