ColorVu cameras capture vivid chromatic images in the dark. Thanks to the F.1.0 Super Aperture, colourful images are delivered 24/7 even in low light, allowing the camera to capture 4x more light than a conventional lens and the advanced sensor. In zero light scenarios, the camera will also emit warm supplementary lighting to maintain the colourful image.

AcuSense technology is also used on the Hikvision DS-2DE3A400BW-DE 4mm 4mp 3-inch ColorVu Network Speed Dome camera for reducing false alarms. AcuSense uses deep learning algorithms for classifications of people and vehicles to reduce false alarms often caused by wildlife and heavy rainfall and so on.

To further alert intruders, users can choose from one of 10 pre-recorded alerts that can be played over the built-in speaker when triggered.
