Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS Black 5MP WDR IR-Mini Dome camera varifocal lens, motorised 2.7-13.5mm
The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS Black is a 5 megapixel Full HD eyeball camera with infrared night vision and a motorised varifocal lens suitable for indoor or outdoor use, PoE and microSD recording. The camera is to be used with the Dahua SmartPSS and Toolbox software and the Dahua DMSS app.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS displays images in Full HD 2592x1944 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a true day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR illumination, ensuring razor-sharp images even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR illumination has a range of no less than 50 metres. The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), allowing it to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.
The motorised adjustable 2.7 to 13.5mm varifocal lens allows the camera to focus remotely on an image far away or an image close by. With this zooming in and out, the angle of view varies with the camera between 95 and 27 degrees. Please note the camera cannot motorised remote rotation, for that you need a so-called PTZ camera.
Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. Suitable NVRs are listed under the "Related" tab. The camera also features the ability to record to a microSD memory card of up to 128Gb.
Dahua has a free Dutch-language app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. On Dahua's website, free Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded.
The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered by an optional 12V power adapter. Under "related products" you can specify whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore also very suitable for vertical installation against a wall.
