This doorbell works standalone, meaning it can be used without an intercom monitor. The doorbell can be powered via PoE or 12 volt Dc, but please note, do not use the PoE of the recorder for this purpose. Instead, use a PoE adapter or a PoE switch. You can, however, store the images from the doorbell on your recorder, using the doorbell's IP address, add it to a free channel on your recorder.

Optionally, there is a surface mount box of metal to get, this is the KV6133 neatly finished when you use it as surface mount. See right for related products.
